Olman Magic Mechanics

Player Characters have an effective level in Spirit Magic Shaper (Shaper for short) equal to 1/2 their character level, rounded down.

Many aspects of Olman Spirit Magic involve Investment or spirit energy into a variety of options. The maximum amount of Spirit Power that can be used on any single aspect is set by the level of Spirit Magic Shaper.
Level 1-4 = 1 point maximum
Level 5-8 = 2 points maximum
Level 9-12 = 3 points maximum
Level 13-16 = 4 points maximum
Level 17-20 = 5 points maximum

Player Characters were Gifted with Spirit Magic power by a grateful Totaniuh, giving them a Spirit Reserve of 1 point which later grew by another point as their adventures progressed.

Each Player Character was also trained in a Patron Theme by Jakarta the Wanderer after his rescue from the Lightless Depths under the isle.

There are several ways to improve a Player Character’s Spirit Magic abilities. Several are listed below.

Spirit Magic Shaper Feats
>General feats can be taken at Character Level 1.
>Improved feats require Character Level 6.
>Greater feats require Character Level 11.

Exceptional Investor: You may increase the Investment cap by +1 on a single power or feat chosen at the start of the day. This lasts for 24 hours and then vanishes, allowing a different or the same power to be chosen the following day. This feat may be taken multiple times, but allows an additional choice to be at +1, not a single choice at +2

Guardian Spirit: Gain a +1 dodge bonus to AC per point of Spirit Magic Invested into this feat. This bonus lasts for a 24 hour period. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Guardian Spirit, Improved: Shaper gains Uncanny Dodge as a Rogue of equivalent Shaper Level, and does not start combat Flat-footed.

Guardian Spirit, Greater: ‘Movement’ of any kind does not provoke attacks of opportunity. (Reach, Prone, Leaving Melee, Picking up dropped weapon, Drinking a Potion, etc)

Guided Steps: Gain a +5’ enhancement bonus to your movement rates per point of Spirit Magic Invested into this feat. This bonus lasts for a 24 hour period. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Guided Steps, Improved: Movement bonus increases to +10’ enhancement bonus per point of Spirit Magic Invested. 5’ steps can now be performed in Difficult Terrain.

Guided Steps, Greater: Character can take a second 5’ step during any combat round. Character may also take this bonus 5’ step during a round that they have already performed a movement or double movement action.

Inspired Strike: Gain a +1 bonus to hit on attack rolls per point of Spirit Magic Invested into this feat. This bonus lasts for a 24 hour period. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Inspired Strike, Improved: Penalties to attack rolls are reduced by 1 point. This includes TWF, iterative attacks, striking to subdue, nonproficiency, etc)

Inspired Strike, Greater: Penalties to attack rolls are reduced by the amount of Spirit Magic Invested.

Practiced Shaper: Effective level in Spirit Magic Shaper increased by +4. Cannot exceed your Character Level.

Spirit-Fueled Strength: Gain a +1 Bonus to melee damage rolls with a single weapon (natural, manufactured, or spell like) per point of Spirit Magic Invested into this feat for a 24 hour period. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Spirit-Fueled Strength, Improved: The Bonus from Spirit-Fueled Strength now applies to all attacks made with weapons.

Spirit-Fueled Strength, Greater: The Bonus from Spirit-Fueled Strength increases to +2 per point Invested.

Spirit-Laced Spellcasting: At the start of a day, choose a spell you know(for spontaneous) or memorize(for prepared casters). Your effective Caster Level, Saving Throw DC, and Spell Penetration rolls are increased by the amount of Spirit Magic Invested when casting that spell. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Spirit-Laced Spellcasting, Improved: Invested Spirit Magic now effects a Single School of Spells instead of a Single Spell chosen for the 24 hour period.

Spirit-Laced Spellcasting, Greater: Invested Spirit Magic now effects all Spells cast for the 24 hour period.

Spiritual Tutor: Each point of Spirit Magic invested into this feat gives the Shaper a +1 insight bonus to a Skill of his choice. This bonus lasts for a 24 hour period. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Spiritual Tutor, Improved: Invested Spirit Magic now applies to all Skills of a single Attribute. (Ex:Dex) One Skill can be chosen to ‘Take 10’ even in combat or when threatened.

Spiritual Tutor, Greater: Invested Spirit Magic now applies to all Skills regardless of attribute. A number of Skills equal to the points of Spirit Magic Invested can be chosen for ‘Take 10’ in combat or when threatened.

Spiritually Bolstered: Each point of Spirit Magic invested into this feat gives the Shaper +1 extra hit point per character level for 24 hours. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Soul-fused Metamagic:
Prereq:Spirit-Laced Spellcasting, Improved.
Each point of Spirit Magic invested into this feat offsets a single level adjustment of a known Metamagic Feat. This benefit lasts for 24 hours and a different Metamagic Feat can be chosen the next day if desired. Only one feat may benefit from Soul-Fused Metamagic at a time.

Untapped Reserves of Spirit: Spirit Magic Pool increases by +2.

Warded Spirit: Gain a +1 Bonus to saving throws of one type (Fort, Ref, Will) chosen at the start of the day equal to the amount of Spirit Magic Invested in this feat. Spirit Magic Pool increases by +1.

Warded Spirit, Improved: The bonus now applies to Two of the choices above, and if an effect has an ongoing duration, the Character can attempt a new Saving Throw every following round to end such effects.

Warded Spirit, Greater: Character gains Spell Resistance equal to 10+ 1/2 character level + Con Bonus + Spirit Magic Invested into this feat
